As the market prices of rare earth products continue to rising and remaining stubbornly high, the Rare Earth Office held talks with China Rare Earth Group, North Rare Earth Group, Shenghe Resources Company and other key rare earth enterprises on March 3. The meeting called on relevant enterprises to strengthen their awareness of the overall situation and sense of responsibility, correctly grasp the relationship between the current and long-term, upstream and downstream, and ensure the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain. Industry self-discipline should be strengthened to further regulate enterprises' activities such as production and operation, product trading and trade circulation, and refrain from engaging in market speculation and hoarding for profit. We should give full play to the role of demonstration and leadership, improve the pricing mechanism for rare earth products, and jointly guide product prices to return to rationality to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the rare earth industry.
